So one day, everyone couldn’t wait to ship Gasol, Odom, Bynum, WHOEVER for the sake of Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. Now that Odom’s gone, everyone’s crying.

Why the hell would a team destroy themselves just to acquire superstars, when CLEARLY, the original roster was better. Oh yeah, Jim Buss, the son of Dr. Buss wanted to wipe out the entirety of Phil Jackson era, which was the era that brought all the success to Lakers in the first place.
This isn’t rebuilding mode. It will be rebuilding mode when Kobe retires, not now so don’t trade for the future, yet. Lakers fans shouldn’t jump the bandwagon hype to trade for superstars. I understand letting go of the role players to change variety from year to year, but not the three most formidable big men in the league.
